Meeting minutes
Minutes of Technical meeting

- Testing was opened for the CLARIN collaborators from MPI and IDS on Feb 10, 2010 (Test version 2.2 instructions)
- The AAI demo cannot move to the new Scientist's interface (SUI) as planned, but transfer to SUI may be possible in the future.
- Authorization work flow IdM implementation has started (latter part of the project), but it is delayed from the schedule.
- Further discussion
- Kimmo Koskenniemi commented that the referee should be linked with the resource, thus helping the Content Provider. He also suggested that the referee page should include the email and web addresses of referees. These features are not included in the requirements. It was agreed that these comments can be added to the end report.
- Further comments on the newest test version will be sent by email.
- Next Technical meeting
- Suggested for Tuesday, March 30 at 1 pm (must be checked if this suits all) Other days on week 13 are also possible.
Minutes of Steering Group meeting (at 3:15 pm)
- Project status
- Satu presented where we are now, compared to the project schedule: Updated schedule (Feb 23, 2010)
- Pekka Järveläinen and Stephen Avae II (IdM part) will work as consultants for the project. They continue Seán's work after March 22.
- The project will result in being an integral part of the Language Bank of Finland services.
- Further discussion
- Current limits for the unix groups on CSC's servers were seen as a problem, because the Language Bank is growing.
- Cross-scientific cooperation could be advantageous, e.g. with social sciences.
- Goal of CLARIN is to move towards ERIC (European Research Infrastructure Consortium) providing a community legal framework for research infrastructures.
- Next Steering Group meeting
- Technical and Steering Group meeting suggested for the end of April (will be specified later)
