A high-level programming formalism based on the OpenFst library but with some semantic features borrowed from the Xerox Finite State Toolkit. Users can program using regular expressions, right-linear phrase-structure grammars and rule-like notations. The algorithms for compiling alternation rules were provided by Mans Hulden.
