KitCourseContents | The unit will include study and work in a web-based course environment. The course will provide an overview of the following concepts and fields: technical communication, information design, technical illustration, the general and special skills of a technical communicator, types of information products and information types, the interplay of structure, content and media, documentation project tasks and project phases, information architecture, usability, terminology work, hypertexts and structured writing, writing use cases as well as internationalisation and localisation. |
KitCourseCompletion | The students get acquainted with the study materials, complete a number of exercises and tasks on different aspects of lecture topics, write a learning journal (in the web environment, Optima) throughout the course period and write a term paper on a specific aspect of technical communication.
