Subscribe to the Language Bank newsletter!

By subscribing to the newsletter of the Language Bank of Finland, you will be kept up-to-date on new resources and services at the Language Bank as well as on events and courses organized by FIN-CLARIN or the Language Bank. The newsletter will be posted to you a few times a year. The newsletters are published in Finnish and English.

NB: The subscription form is currently being moved to the Language Bank Portal. For now, you can subscribe to the newsletter by sending an email with an empty Subject line and with nothing but the following message to the address majordomo [AT]

Correspondingly, you can remove your address by sending the following message:

Personal data processing details

  • The list of email addresses is only used for sending out the newsletters of the Language Bank of FInland. Each newsletter contains instructions on joining or leaving the mailing list.
  • The email addresses of the subscribers are automatically stored on the Majordomo server maintained by the University of Helsinki.
  • Apart from the email addresses, no other personal details are stored regarding the subscribers.
  • Each subscriber is free to unsubscribe at any time.
  • The list of subscriber email addresses is only accessible to the Project Planning Officers employed by FIN-CLARIN. On request, they can manually add or remove the email address of the requesting person.
  • It is not allowed to add other mailing lists to the subscription list.
